The month of July we featured, Pat Light CEO & Founder of The Light Group. Operating a portfolio of restaurants that currently include: The Waiting Room, The Greenrock, Texas Arizona, The Garage and Saku- members of NJHA learned a lot from our behind the scenes discussion. Pat, being a former MLB pitcher for The Boston Red Sox and Pittsburg Pirates, shared lots of insights into how he is thinking about scaling his businesses- with the desire to make Washington Street bar scene into the next Broadway out of Nashville, TN (#nashboken), to his views on how to drive new guests through social and creative marketing.

The month of May we featured Dave Carney, Owner/Operator from Madison Bar & Grill. Carney grew up on Willow Terrace and has been involved in a number of restaurants around Hoboken, most notably restoring and operating the Madison Bar & Grill, made famous as the informal headquarters of former Mayor Tom Vezzetti.
